- Obverse: shows left-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with what resembles a Devil's face in her hair and reads "CANADA 10 DOLLARS DIX DOLLARS, BANK OF CANADA - BANQUE DU CANADA, OTTAWA 1954, BRITISH AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY LIMITED"
- Reverse: shows an image of Emerald Lake and Mount Burgess in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, and reads "TEN DOLLARS 10 DIX DOLLARS, BANK OF CANADA"
- Serial Prefix: JD
- Printed Signatures: JR Beattie (Deputy Governor) / JE Coyne (Governor)
- Cutting Error as bottom edge is narrower than the top edge
- Bill comes in a protective plastic sleeve
