This lot is sure to appeal to U.S. History enthusiasts, coin collectors and philatelists! In 1999, the U.S. mint embarked on a decade long program that honored each state on a quarter. Each state's quarter would have its name, year of entry and a distinctive design on the reverse of the quarter along with the year of minting. These quarters are mounted on a cardboard sheet which describes the quarters on the front and on the reverse is a quick history of the state. Also mounted on the reverse are stamps related to Connecticut.

- Obverse: Inscription: "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / QUARTER DOLLAR / LIBERTY / IN GOD WE TRUST
- Reverse: Inscription "THE CHARTER OAK / CONNECTICUT / 1788 / 1999 / E PLURIBUS UNUM" and image of the charter oak tree.
- Quarter from the Denver Mint.
- Quarter from the Philadelphia Mint
- Stamp issued on July 4, 1976 featuring the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
- Stamp issued on July 28, 1962 featuring Senator Brien McMahon
- Cardboard is in a protective plastic folder
