Description
1921 German 50 Pfennig Notgeld Card                                SKU# 214612C

Notgeld, or "necessity money" was issued by institutions that were not authorized for money emissions around the end of the First World War. It was therefore not legal tender, but rather a mutually-accepted means of payment. Mainly issued in paper form, many other mediums were utilized including coins, leather, silk, linen, stamps, aluminium foil, coal, and porcelain. Whether you're a seasoned collector, just starting out or even just looking to possibly make some profit, this card is definitely something you won't want to miss out on!

Features:
- Obverse face shows an image of a building with two people hanging by a rope and reads "50 Gatersleben 50, Gatersleben den, 30, 7, 1921"
- Reverse face shows a train station with two men running towards the train and a train station staff
- Bill comes in protective plastic sleeve
