Issued in 2002 by the Royal Canadian Mint, this special Canadian sterling silver $1 dollar coin commemorates the Golden Jubilee 50th Anniversary celebration of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Not since Her Majesty Queen Victoria has a British monarch reigned for 50 years making this silver dollar a coin to treasure in any collection.

2002 Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Commemorative $1 Dollar Coin:
- Composition: 92.5% sterling silver, 7.5% copper
- Obverse reads: "ELIZABETH II D.G. REGINA 1952-2002" and shows a right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II
- Reverse reads: "CANADA DOLLAR" and portrays Queen Elizabeth II on the day of her coronation
- Coin is sealed in a protective plastic case and is housed in a Royal Canadian Mint velvet lined clamshell case
