- Reverse reads: "CANADA DOLLAR 1909-2009" and shows an image a young person running, arms spread out as if in flight and features three significant Canadian aviation achievements in the background - the Silver Dart, the Avro Arrow and 431 Bomber Squadron (Snowbird).
- Coin comes in a protective plastic coin case housed in a Royal Canadian Mint issued velvet-lined clamshell case
